THE UAE HOLIDAY LIST FOR 2020 IS HERE!

Pull out your calendars, it’s time to start planning your holidays for 2020!
According to Gulf News, UAE residents will get 13 public holidays next year, starting with New Year’s Day which falls on a Wednesday. The next public holiday will likely be a long weekend with a 3 day break for Eid Al Fitr, which might fall on May 23 or May 24, depending on the moon sighting.
The next long weekend will fall on 9-12 of Dhu’l-Hijjah for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha, that will most likely be on July 29 and August 2. The next holiday will be on New Hijri Year which falls on Muharram 1 which will most likely be August 19 or 20.
Fast forward two months and you’ll get a day off for th Prophet’s Mohammad birthday, which falls on 12 of the Hijri month of Rabi Al Awwal, which will either be on October 28 or 29.
The final holiday will be a three-day holiday with Commemoration Day on December 1 and National Day which which will be on December 2 and 3.
