EMIRATES URGES PASSENGERS TO ARRIVE EARLY TO DXB THIS WEEKEND
November 27, 2019
If you’re flying out of Dubai International Airport (DXB) this weekend, take note of this.
With the 5-day long weekend coming up, an estimated 200,000 passengers are expected to travel from DXB with Emirates itself! The airlines has urged travelers to arrive to the airport at least threes hours before their flight, to avoid the rush. According to Emirates, the busiest day will be on Friday November 29, with peak travel beginning on Thursday November 28 up till Thursday December 5.
To avoid the last minute travel-stress, make use of the online check-in which is open 48 hours prior to your flight or physically check-in at the airport 24 hours before flying. Or you can avail the “Home Check-in Service” which allows passengers to check-in from anywhere in Dubai. This service allows you to complete the security check and check-in from the comfort of your home. Talk about convenience!
Emirates anticipates high passenger traffic on UAE National Day holiday weekend. We recommend customers departing from Terminal 3 @DXB should arrive at least 3 hours ahead of departure and allow extra time for check-in and security screening. https://t.co/nc3H8jaUDT

Also, make sure you get to your boarding gate on time! The boarding gates open 90 minutes before departure and boarding starts 45 minutes before the flight.
So, check-in, be there ahead of time and make it to your gates on time!
