The London born, former Heart Ibiza resident and regular at Ministry of Sound, Fabric, has enjoyed a successful career touring the world playing nightclubs and festivals including WMC Miami, ADE & We Are FSTVL, having also had two online number one tracks via Traxsource.
With a regular Sunday night show (23:00-00:00) on Dance FM, the regions only House Music radio station now secured, he has another platform to showcase his style and bring something new to the UAE.
Cotier spent the summer of 2016 as a headline act for Saturday nights at the super cool Heart Ibiza, a regular for the likes of Sven Vath, Apollonia and Sunday residents; Bedouin. He then moved to Manchester to open a brand-new nightclub with nightlife and industry mogul, Aaron Mellor. Now residing in Dubai, Cotier aims to bring his high energy rolling-tech to the masses of the region.
2017 saw him back and forth with the club and his residency at Eden Ibiza for UK Based Label and Ministry of Sound resident party; Audio Rehab, whilst playing a select few gigs in London and making a festival appearance at the mammoth We Are FSTVL.
Moving from strength to strength in the UK music industry, Cotier then found his calling to Dubai when he was approached by friend and now business partner, Kris Bell. Bell, founder of The AgenC, a hugely successful talent sourcing agency in the MENA region, saw Cotier as the perfect fit to help head up the opening of a brand new nightclub in Dubai, Industrial Avenue located at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi.
The team worked tirelessly on creating and birthing a new concept for Dubai, an underground, no-nonsense warehouse style nightclub, based around the ethos of ‘More Dance Floor and Less VIP Tables’, with the aim of changing the very fabric of Dubai nightlife and offering an alternate and accessible event space for everyone to enjoy, no matter who or where they may be from.
Modeled on the underground clubs and experiences of London, Manchester, New York and Berlin, the space boasts a state of the art sound system; the Pioneer XY-3B, the first of its kind in the Middle East and was something of a want and necessity to the project in proving powerful, fine-tuned sound for the people and artists alike to enjoy and really pack a punch on the dance floor.
